Introduction of Chip Design Course
CIT is offering CHIP DESIGNING (FPGA Based Digital Design using
Verilog HDL) course training under Skill Development Council, Govt. of
Pakistan from 2nd week of December 2004. It gives an
opportunity to improve professionals’ skills of your reputed
organization. This course is completely practical oriented. Our target
is that participants can make their own FPGA based system at the end
of course.
This course covers design simulation, verification and test of FPGA
based digital systems using the standard Verilog hardware description
language. It
gives an introduction to advanced techniques for digital logic design,
Hardware design environment, basic concepts in Verilog HDL, structural
specification of hardware, design organization, behavioral and RTL
description of hardware in Verilog HDL, CPU modeling and design, FPGA
and CPLD architecture, synthesis and implementation for FPGAs using
Xilinx Tools.
This
course is heavily laboratory and
project oriented in which the students will be designing and
evaluating digital circuits.
Computer
aided design tools will be used for the experiments.
